Thank you for your bug report, ideally that would be sent upstream on https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/-/issues

Okay, filed https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/-/issues/1021

Would be nice if ubuntu-bug sent me there directly. I'm getting tired of having to file a lot of bug reports twice. Sometimes downstream says go to upstream, sometimes upstream says go to downstream. The app displays as Ubuntu Software, but its CLI / package name is gnome-software.
