Bug Description

The categories expander button is constantly broken (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/issues/607) and so it was removed in upstream. However, there was a workaround suggested (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/issues/607#note_545721) to fix the expander. It's untested, but it could work. Consider fixing the expander button using this workaround.

It is broken in both the upstream GNOME Software distributed in desktop Ubuntu since 16.04 and the latest "Snap Store".
