Bug Description
The window opened from Menu->All->Software shows the software stores available. When I alunch the first, I get a window showing all applications; but the window is missing a search widget. To look for a specific app I have to step through every app in every category. If there were only a dozen or so apps for Ubuntu that would be ok.
Forgetting to add a search feature is a major design error!

There is a search tool for generic Ubuntu (Bionic), in the upper right corner.
No idea what it looks like for MATE, will just let this bug open.
