Firefox web browser not found within Software Centre

(As seen in the latest daily build of 32bit Ubuntu Budgie with updates applied, using Software v3.27.92)

Searching for Firefox only returns Iceweasel. Can we get Firefox (back) in the repos?

I'll assume this is the daily build of Ubuntu bionic, based on some of your other reports the last few days. When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. This will automatically add version numbers, appropriate tags and other relevant information. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

For this one, which is already reported, you may run the following command in a terminal (just once), to add the same information:
apport-collect 1754902

Keep up the testing and please report any bugs you may come across :)

I believe this is a duplicate of LP: #1754902 so I'm marking it as a duplicate.

I have a proposed fix for this but I don't know if it will make it into the Firefox 59 release this week.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Also occurring in 18.04 desktop LTS Ubuntu Software.
Once removed via Ubuntu Software by clicking "Remove", search only returns snap version of firefox, but not both.
No option to re-install via Ubuntu Software. Only choice available is to install snap version.
