Bug Description
Searching for "VLC" in Ubuntu Software shows two results. The first is "vlc" and has the same description as VideoLAN. However, installing the first entry doesn't create a VLC shortcut.
What is the first "vlc" entry? Is it malware?

It's because an entry correspond to the snap package and the other for the debian package. It's indeed confusing.
