I reinstalled (clean install) didn't use previous ~/home as I usually do. I was thinking some data carried over from another distro may have corrupted things. I usually keep ~home on a separate partition so I can /install various distributions on the main drives, all sharing the same ~/home. Never ran into any issues until now. So I'll close this bug, unless someone else is having the same problem?
