Found in /var/crash a file _usr_bin_gnome-software.1000.crash with at the end :

Title: gnome-software crashed with signal 5 in g_main_context_new()
UnreportableReason:
You have some obsolete package versions installed. Please upgrade the following packages and check if the problem still occurs:

 gnome-software, gnome-software-common, init-system-helpers, libapparmor1, libappstream-glib8, libc6, libdrm-amdgpu1, libdrm-intel1, libdrm-nouveau2, libdrm-radeon1, libdrm2, libegl1-mesa, libfwupd1, libgbm1, libgl1-mesa-dri, libllvm3.8, libp11-kit0, libpam-systemd, libprocps4, libsystemd0, libudev1, libwayland-egl1-mesa, multiarch-support, procps, systemd, ubuntu-mono, udev
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
_MarkForUpload: True

Did
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Rebooted and next reboot was 'clean'. Will follow-up if it remains clean
