The Softwarecenter read not Data fom file "control".
In Ubuntu 16.10 i386 and 16.10 amd64.

I missing:
Maintainer?
Source?
Icon from applications?
Example Icon from applications?

in read .DEB pakage.

If you run this .deb through gdebi do you get this information? Note there is no icon in a .deb file to use.
