webservers missing from search results

apache, appache2, or webserver each find no webservers.
all three successfully find various webservers with apt-cache search.
#ubuntu+1 suggested reporting a bug.

1) lsb_release -rd

3) Expected Apache2 and additional webservers to be listed in gnome-software as they are in apt-cache search.

4) "Apache" search found some log and perf related software, "apache2" returned "No Application Found", "webserver" returned MonoDoc.

GNOME Software shows only GUI applications which have .desktop files and appstream metadata. CLI and server programs are terminal-based software. They can be installed with apt.
