Can't remove or launch some apps from Software

I went to the download page for Chrome, and chose to open with "Software Installer (default)" to install it directly. The installation worked as expected.
However, the "Remove" and "Launch" buttons in Software do not work for Google Chrome - nothing happens!

Another issue, very similar to this one affects me, but with every application I install. When I go to remove the applications they even show a progress bar, and disappear. BUT when I wait a few seconds, the page where the apps I removed were (in the installed tab) reload, and the apps I removed are there!

= How to reproduce =

 - download Google Chrome
 - install Google Chrome with "Software"
 - then try to remove or launch Google Chrome from Software.

 OR

 - download & install any app
 - then go to the installed tab of software and try to remove

These issues are possibly related to bug #1551707.

I tried today, just updated Ubuntu 16.04, to install Chrome: everything worked well and I didn't find the "could not find any google-chrome-stable" message.

But, I was thinking to upload the screenshot of my google-chrome installation (without error message), but neither "Launch" or "Remove" buttons work!!!
Can you confirm that both buttons don't work?

Tested again with gnome-software 3.20.1~git20160331.78d1aab-0ubuntu2. The "could not find" page did not show up this time, but just as Alessandro reported I could neither launch Google Chrome nor remove the package from gnome-software.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

I encountered the problem with defunct Launch and Remove buttons also for Skype, installed from Canonical Partners (bug #1567630).
