Bug Description
We think that the Featured Application and Editor's Picks are fixed. These should be easily updateable by a designated team/teams.
An idea:
Add the picks in to a data file which can be pushed to by the community team and the desktop team. This file should be easy and quick to update so that the picks can be rotated regularly.

As far as I can see, plugins can contribute to this list. There is a hardcoded default list supplied by the moduleset plugin, which is what is used now.
Perhaps it would be good for appstream to be able to put this in, via its configuration file or somewhere else, and then as-glib & friends can export it into g-s for its appstream plugin to use?
