Bug Description

Pressing Alt-^ to switch between windows of the same application does not work. I tried setting it again in Keyboard Shortcuts, but this did not work either.

Don't you mean Alt-` for switching windows of same app?

Good catch. Of course it's Alt, not Ctrl in the description above. Fixed.

It's Alt-^ (the key above the tabulator) in German Keyboard Layout. That used to work in oneiric, but not in precise. I'll try Alt-` and/or switching to an English keyboard layout later.

So the hotkey still works for you on precise with an english keyboard?

Might be a dup of #965921, I'll try later

Does not seem to be related to 965921, I checked the switch-group keybinding in dconf-editor (as shown in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1933323) and it is set to the default '<Alt>Above_Tab'. Setting it to <Alt>^ does not help either, setting it to '<Alt>a' or '<Super>Tab' works though. So it might be an issue with the Above_Tab key. The key works fine in applications though.

Changing the keyboard layout to en-US does not help, neither does using <Alt>` (which is left to the backspace on a German keyboard)

A fresh userprofile works, so it seems to be related to migration / old settings? Any idea where I could search?
