Bug Description
Every time I try to record a screencast via the built-in feature triggered by Ctrl+Alft+Shift+R, it starts recording successfully but when I click the stop button, the recording stops and nothing is saved to ~/Videos/

That might be an amdgpu-specific issue. Sadly it doesn't seem common enough to show up in the top 100 gjs crashes for 22.04:
https:/ /errors. ubuntu. com/?release= Ubuntu% 2022.04& package= gjs&period= month
It sounds like this bug though:
https:/ /gitlab. gnome.org/ GNOME/gnome- shell/- /issues/ 6747
which is fixed in mutter 45.1 and later.
