polkitAuthenticationAgent: Failed to show modal dialog in Xorg sessions

On Ubuntu Kinetic I have on desktop the icons for my preferred applications.
Double click on icon starts the application for all apps excluding gparted and synaptic.
Problem seems related to some authorizations
