description |
I have upgrade from 21.10 to 22.04 Beta on my Microsoft Surface Go 2 tablet. I generally use it via the tough screen but I also have a type cover I can attach.
There are a number of instances where the on-screen keyboard does not appear or does not prove the required input. Examples are as follows:
- Firefox (snap) - trying to enter credentials into the Bitwarden extension. Tapping into the text fields does not bring up the keyboard.
- Pycharm (snap) - creating a new project in the start-up wizard, tapping in the filename box does not bring up the on screen keyboard.
- When you lock the tablet and then try to unlock it via the Gnome unlock screen, tapping in the password box does bring up the keyboard but any keys pressed do not appear in the password box.
All of the above can be worked around by attaching the Type Cover and using the physical keyboard.
If I an collect any diagnostic data for this please send me the instructions ans I'll see what I can do.
Thanks
