Day of the week is missing in the calendar popover

For several days now, the day of the week has not been displayed on the time sub-menu as shown in the screenshot in the attachment, it seems to be a bug from the last update.

This sounds like a localization change. Please open a Terminal window and run:

  echo $LANGUAGE

What does it display?

Please also try:

  gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.calendar show-weekdate true

echo $LANGUAGE displays fr_FR:en

"gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.calendar show-weekdate true" seems to just add the number of the weeks in the calendar, it doesn't add the day of the week. Thanks.

I have the same problem in a VirtualBox virtual machine while everything is correct in the host. It is very strange.

Ideally we would like to know if this bug still happens in GNOME 3.38 (Ubuntu 20.10 or 21.04). If it does then it should be reported upstream.
