Bug Description
Upon installing a new application the list in "show applications" is not updated and just added at the end (last page). The list is also not sorted. When first installing Ubuntu 20.10, I could get the list updated by logging in and out, but after installing about 10 applications that stopped working.
The Dash is version 0.5.10.2-7

I think this is correct. The current design allows you to drag icons and define your own order. Meaning the order of icons should stay unchanged, not sorted, even after installing new apps.
But rather than closing this bug I will turn it into an enhancement request for the option to sort the icons.
