and then attach the resulting text files.

Also, is this a virtual machine or a real machine?

Hello,

Thanks for looking at this. It is a real laptop. An HP Envy. Installed
from Ubuntu-Budgie 20.04 LTS amd64

[image: image.png]in
Settings.txt is empty
I included schemas.txt since the requested schema is not present.

Thanks. And sorry I'm not very familiar with Budgie - it seems to be related to gnome-shell but different.

Regardless, your display scale should be stored in ~/.config/monitors.xml along with all the display layout details. You might want to look in there to check that a scale value of 2 is being saved. Although it might look overly complicated as that file stores *all* the different display configurations (different monitors plugged in) your system has used in the past.

Hello Dan,

Yes it looks like the scale is 2 for the main monitor in both my single and
dual monitor setups.
There is a ~/.config/monitors.xml~ file created after I change the
settings.
