Bug Description

From time to time gnome-shell gets unresponsive to inputs. I can move the cursor, but I cannot interact with the shell in any way, neither with mouse or keyboard.

When this happens I move to a vt and restart the shell with `killall -3 gnome-shell`. After this the shell does usually resume working (albeit some application crashes in the process from time to time).
