Bug Description
Whenever the "bluetooth settings" screen is opened, an assertion failure is logged from gnome-shell, followed by many video-related lines from gdm-x-session (syslog extract attached). The first part looks like this:
gnome-shell[2872]: g_environ_setenv: assertion 'value != NULL' failed
/usr/lib/
...
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. tail -f /var/log/syslog #in a terminal
2. In the upper-right top of the screen:
Speakerico
RESULTS: BT settings window openens, and many messages logged to syslog
EXPECTED RESULTS: No assertion errors logged (unclear why anything should be logged due to simply opening a window).

Your original bug report here was about an assertion failure. If that's no longer happening then this bug should be closed and a new one opened for the remaining problem.
