System freeze after "Refactor->Rename" operation in PHPStorm

Bug Description

Recently upgraded from Ubuntu 18.10 to 19.04. The bug was not present before the upgrade.

Complete system freezes reproducible when running the PHPStorm (v. 2019.1) file operation named "Refactor"->"Rename" on a file and exactly when clicking the OK button to confirm the listed refactorings. It's not just the gnome shell freezing immediately, but the whole system. I can't switch to a text shell anymore, only option is a hardware power off.
