App grid is missing pages of icons

I am using Ubuntu 18.04. The App Menu Drawer doesn't show up always fully with all the icons. Sometimes one page shows up while the rest of the pages are empty. Not sure what caused this Thanks!

This happened on and off. After posting this bug, Page 1 and Page 2 of menu were ok but Page 3 was empty. Its inconsistent.

I have noticed that the app pages disappear sometimes and when they do, the three dots on the right side are redrawn together once. Then after the app pages disappear.

Please try uninstalling (or just renaming the directory of) the extensions mentioned in comment #6. Then reboot and retest

We find a large number of bugs are caused by extensions so we need to know if this bug still happens without any extensions installed.

Looks like that was it. I removed all my extensions and I don't get that app display error anymore. I guess I will have to do without the net speed extension :(

I removed all my extensions (except for ones installed by Ubuntu) and the problem still happens.
