the screen lock needs to be triggered twice

If I trigger the screen lock, via Super+L or the gnome menu,
I need to trigger the shortcut again or it won't lock, the screen will just freeze.
If I trigger it again then it locks normally, and can be unlocked.

It's also happening to me. I noticed that it happens either if you press Super+L or if you press the "lock" button in the GUI menu at the top left of the screen.
