Bug Description
PC Specs:
i5-6200U
8GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 930m
I'm new to Ubuntu, and I just freshly installed Ubuntu 18.04 and I have noticed that my cpu fans are always on. I installed "htop" to see what was the cause, and it turns out that gnome-shell usually goes to 100%, on one core, while ram being at 2.11GB... Is there any fix? PC doesn't slow down but fans constantly spinning is annoying.

gnome-shell is very good at using zero CPU when nothing is happening. So if you find it's more than zero then that's probably due to one of your extensions:
b'org.gnome.shell' b'enabled- extensions' b"['<email address hidden>', '<email address hidden>', '<email address hidden>', '<email address hidden>']"
Please remove all extensions and retest. If that's not enough then please also give more details about what apps were running at the time.
