Bug Description

Today after updating a cosmic VM I noticed that some strings are not translated any longer, such as "Wired Settings" in the menu, or most of the power off dialog.

    $ gettext -d gnome-shell "Wired Settings"
    Wired Settings

It appears there was a language pack update, and the last gnome-shell build failed to export the translations correctly:

    dh_translations
    dh_translations: meson.build found, but it seems meson wasn't used to build this source (no build directory found)
    dh_translations: could not determine domain
