Bug Description
Today after updating a cosmic VM I noticed that some strings are not translated any longer, such as "Wired Settings" in the menu, or most of the power off dialog.
$ gettext -d gnome-shell "Wired Settings"

It appears there was a language pack update, and the last gnome-shell build failed to export the translations correctly:
