Please open a terminal window and run:

  journalctl -f

Note the latest time at the bottom of the window, then lock the screen. Wait for it to eventually complete, then unlock. Now take a screenshot of new messages that appeared in that window during the lock and send it to us.

affects: gdm (Ubuntu) → gnome-shell (Ubuntu)

I found that it's could be because overloaded Intel HD 4000. It's happening only when I have many windows (10+) opened on many (3+) workspaces and second monitor is connected. After boot it's not happening now.

There is a log of locking and unlocking from "journalctl -f" when it happens

Thanks, but that log covers 35 seconds so it's hard to tell... Can you say which time is before the bug and which is after?
