Bug Description

I am using Ubuntu Gnome 15.04 daily builds, and I have Gnome3 team and staging ppas setup. I would like to report a couple of issues.

1) Windows no longer seem to have the "move to upper/lower workspace" options.

2) An application window seems to be duplicated on all virtual workspaces, i.e., I can access my application windows from every workspace.

I have attached a couple of snapshots to show the issues.

can you post the output from 'xrandr -q', also what gpu are you using

It sounds like gnome-shell does not think you monitor is the primary. What you describe is the default behaviour for additional monitors.

You could also try turn off "workspaces only on primary display" to confirm that is happening

I tried apport-collect 1442414 but it says no information was collected.

This is the output of xrandr -q.

My graphics card is GeForce GT 540M, I am using Dell XPS 15z L502X.

I turned off "workspaces only on primary display" and that solves the issue, but I guess that is not the desired setting.

is this a nvidia prime system? ie has intel integrated graphics as well? I think in that case no monitors get marked as primary.

"workspaces on only on primary" is harmless on a single monitor system (It actually should do nothing at all in that case)

RIght, it as an integrated intel graphics as well.

I do not have nvidia-prime, nvidia-settings, etc packages installed. I am using the default nouveau drivers.
