Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:

1) Open gnome-terminal
2) Place the console on a secondary monitor
3) Press ctrl+f2
4) Type 'r' to reload

Expected results:
I should still be able to see the terminal

Actual results:
The terminal is disappeared, however, if I press the windows/meta key to show the desktop overview the terminal is still visible, clicking it brings it to focus, then promptly disappears

After upgrading gnome-terminal using https://launchpad.net/~gnome3-team/+archive/gnome3-staging I'm not able to recreate this bug. Only required upgrade of libvte-2.90-common , libvte-2.90-9 on 14.04 so fairly safe
