Bug Description

Both the bluetooth and the brightness slider do not show up in the systems menu (on the right top side of the screen)

Brightness is intentionally disabled since it requires gnome-settings-daemon 3.10

It appears this has been fixed in later releases. If you would like a fix in Ubuntu 14.04 then please nominate for series 'trusty'.
