Hi,

I am afraid this is not a bug and you didn't mention whether you have tried to 'add' or 'enable' these buttons or not :)

Could you please go to System Tweak and try to add these two buttons?

Thank you!

There doesn't seem to be an application with the word tweak in its name.

Are you using Ubuntu GNOME?

No, I just switched to using gnome-shell on regular Ubuntu.

If you havn't got the "Tweak Tool" installed, you can find it in the software center (think it's named Gnome Tweak Tool).

After it is installed, open it, and choose "Windows" in the left menu.
There you can activate maximize and minimize at the bottom.
