this bug affects me too here in Ubuntu 12.10 Gnome-Shell 3.5. This bug is present already a few days and always pops up, when Software-Updater is started.

hi decafbad,

I see the same thing here in Luninux12. Luninux is a further ubuntu-based Distro. Luninux12 is based on Ubuntu Precise. So this bug does not only affect Ubuntu, but more or less all ubuntu-based distros like LinuxMint, Luninux and other Ubuntu-derivates with Gnome-Shell

Greetings

I observed a similar issue which seemed to been caused by removing evolution from my system.
