Bug Description

Installed via the software centre and then after removing via apt. The package installs and displays its window, then it freezes and you can do nothing.

I'm doing bug triaging of bugs filed in Ubuntu for gnome-shell-promodoro, which
I am maintaining in Debian and Ubuntu imports from there.

This bug is reported against an ancient version and in newer versions this bug is
no longer present. Therefore I'm marking it as

 fixreleased

I'm getting exactly this behaviour with 0.20 in 22.04.

I just tried compiling the latest version that is compatible with GNOME 42, namely 0.22, for Jammy, and that worked fine, so a backport would seem to be an easy fix for this bug.
