gnome weather extension does not work

Hello

The weather gnome shell extension does not work for me. My system is fully upgraded and up to date on Ubuntu Wily, 15.10. When I try to enable the extension in Tweak tool, it works. I get in the settings window. Then, when I try to add a new city for e.g. Berlin, it time outs and fails. It does not work when I try to add GPS coordinates either.

Note that my weather provider is forecast.io and I do have a valid API key obtained from them. So, it's not about the issue reported in a separate bug.

On previous version of Ubuntu, 14.04 LTS it worked on the same computer without issues. Can you help to find out and advise. I see nothing in the logs, except one line worth mentioning:

Hello

Ubuntu release 15.10 'Wily Werewolf' became EOL on 28 July 2016 according to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases> and it is not an LTS release. Please somebody confirm if this bug exists in current Ubuntu release 20.10 'Groovy Gorilla'. I bet it’s not. If not, please close this bug.
