Ubuntu Dock "Show Applications" button: click target doesn't extend to screen edges

How to reproduce
===================
Boot up Impish live media, with the default left-side dock setup, swing the mouse pointer to the bottom-leftmost corner of the screen. The "Show Applications" button is not highlighted and cannot be activated.

Expected behaviour
===================
The click target of this button should extend to the very edges of the screen like the rest of the UI elements. Fitts's law should be fulfilled.

Dash To Dock is the correct project. I only assigned it to Ubuntu before to work around a Launchpad bug.

Dock side is fixed by gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock 72~ubuntu1, will need to update yaru to get the full fix.

I continue to experience the described problem. I see that this had a fixed pushed recently in version 22.04.1 and according to my package manager I have version 22.04.4, so it appears there has been a regression in the meantime.

Still not fixed in 22.04. Now the button visually reacts in a weird way when clicked in the pixel in the corner, but the Applications menu is not opened.
