Bug Description

Dash to Dock settings does not work on a stock Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal) installation. If you right click the "Show Applications", click settings, it'll trigger an error indicating gnome-shell-extension-prefs is missing. Installing this package resolves the issue. This package should be a dependency of gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock.

This sounds like a consequence of bug 1869635 so let's track it there for now.

This bug is not a duplicate of 1869635. This package should always be installed because it is used by the other gnome shell extensions including those the user may add manually in the future.
