It looks like this issue is back in Ubuntu 21.04. On a fresh install on the same laptop I can see this issue on 21.04 but I cannot see it on 20.04.
The issue only occurs when the ubuntu dash extension is enabled. It also persists when I have disabled the ubuntu dash and enabled dash to dock.
I can see it with 3 nautilus windows opened simultaneously.
When plugged into a 2nd monitor with the monitors oriented top and bottom (and the top monitor being the primary), I can see the cut off elements extend into the bottom monitor.
I could replicate the issue on wayland and on xorg, and I could replicate the issue on a gnome-boxes VM too (on the live ISO).
