Bug Description
Ubuntu 18.04 with Gnome Shell
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a folder on the desktop
2. Press F2 to change the folder's name
Expected result:
The popup where you can write new name is not obstructed by the dock
What happens instead:
The popup where you can write new name is partially covered by the dock

Is your dock set to auto-hide?
If yes, then the dock should be moving out the way.
If no, then nautilus-desktop should be placing that popup in the clearly defined desktop work area (that does not include under the dock).
