ubuntu dash-to-dock does not recognize vanilla dash-to-dock being uninstalled

Bug Description

I uninstalled vanilla dash-to-dock by deleting ~/.<email address hidden>/

This did not remove <email address hidden> from org.gnome.shell.enabled-extension (in dconf), which is checked by /<email address hidden>/extension.js, and therefore ubuntu-dock wasn't enabled.

I think extension.js should also check if ~/.<email address hidden>/ still exists.

Yes, sounds like bug 1712698. But bug 1711617 covers the main issue I think.
