Launching terminal or typing commands in it makes the desktop "refresh"

By refresh i mean that every icons disappear before reappearing.

Thank you for your bug report. Do you edit any file in your ~/Desktop directory?

It sounds similar to bug #1812883

I actually deleted the ~/Desktop folder.

Thanks to your answer i found the fix. I created the folder again and edited ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs to point to it.
