that must be something wrong in gnome-settings-daemon, which is what applies the settings to the devices.

I'm on a wacom 5 (Timo knows me already with a previous [pointer to left corner] bug) and got exactly the same problem...was already on my way to submit this bug for the intuos 5, but it seems this is a more general problem and not specific to a version 4/5...

How do we proceed here? Should I post that problem to the wacom list? I think we should create some awareness for this bug...it's really annoying...
