Bug Description
Hi,
After the last update I cannot adjust my netbook screen brighness. The shortcuts stopped working and the slider in System Settings -> Brighness and Lock disappears when I open it (thats right, its there for half a second on openning "Brighness and Lock" but then disappears.
Everything worked fine in Alpha 2 straight out of the box. Please note that all previous Ubuntu versions (before 12.04) needed custom drivers for this. Unfortunately the maintainer has difficulties and it looks like he will not be able to keep looking after this:
