Bug Description

possible dupe of 907052 - reporting as new in case attached files are useful. Context is attempting to log in via xdmcp from xephyr on a mac. Not sure if this was thrown while initially attempting unity default (at which only the desktop worked) or subsequently unity2d which is partially functional (am reporting this through it) with redraw glitches, and is when i first saw the 'report a problem' dialogue.
