Keyboard indicator doesn't show current keyboard layout in Ubuntu 11.10 running GNOME 3 Classic (fallback) mode.
It shows only a useless keyboard icon; when clicked, it shows layout selection menu; keyboard layout switching shortcuts are working too.
In Unity it shows a keboard icon with language code near it if you have more than one keyboard layout, but this is not a case for GNOME.
As you can see, it happened before in Ubuntu 10.04 (bug #531173) and 11.04 (bug #826719). |

It shows only a useless keyboard icon; when clicked, it shows layout selection menu; keyboard layout switching shortcuts are working too, but I need to guess the current layout by typing, so this indicator is almost useless now.
