Bug Description

Oneiric i386

Since colord is used, these errors are logged:
(gnome-settings-daemon:2410): GnomeDesktop-WARNING **: could not get output property for default, rc: 15

(gnome-settings-daemon:2410): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_window_set_wmclass: shouldn't set wmclass after window is realized!

(gnome-settings-daemon:2410): color-plugin-WARNING **: failed to get edid: unable to get EDID for output

(gnome-settings-daemon:2410): color-plugin-WARNING **: failed to enumerate directory /home/oem/.color/icc: No sush file or folder

So .color/icc need to be set and populated

Digging around gnome-settings-daemon dependencies, i see that gnome-color-manager is not installed ( that one is 3.1.2 now, only breaks if <3.0)

is that still an issue in precise? the new g-c-c should install gnome-color-manager on demand

Actual errors logged on Precise i386 (gnome-classic without effects):

note that I get none of those warnings in my unity session and gnome-color-manager is not installed

Gnome-color-manager is not installed on this system. Does not know if it can have some importance, but i'm sharing a unique /home partition with other distro (all i386: lucid, oneiric, lubuntu.
