Bug Description

Opened Synaptic to review samba and installed any needed modules. Gnome-settings-daemon crashed. Testing Oneiric 11.10 (32 bit version) and had logged in to the Unity desktop. Present kernel in use Linux 3.0.0-0300rc6-generic #201107050905 SMP Tue Jul 5 09:53:33 UTC 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
