i've applied the latest updates then rebooted.
Got my theme changed without asking for, and looking at .Xsession-errors:

Running into console: sudo gnome-settings-
the result is :
- first time: cant detect synaptics device ( this system have not one anyway, package only installed, so it might not complaint)
so i reconfigure gnome-setting-
- second time:
