Bug Description

Ubuntu 19.10 (other versions are most likely affected too)

The gnome calender window (inside the notification window) that opens when you click on the clock on the top does not respect the formating that was set in the "Region & Language" settings. It only translates months and days, but formating of my selected langauge is ignored.

I have my "Formats" set to german (and language set to english), so the correct formating should be
29. Dezember 2019
but what I actually get is
Dezember 29 2019

Another issues is, the letters used inside the calender to abbreviate the days are still displayed in english.
Example:
M T W T F S S
when it should be
M D M D F S S

BOTH of these issues are fixed by switching the system language to german. This is not how it should be. These things should depend on the systems format settings, not language.
