Log into a Ubuntu/GNOME session and make sure that the session has the correct theme, that the screen resolution is correct, that the keybinding work as they should.

* Regression potential

The main changes are in the plugins to handle the monitor, night mode and multimedia keys, make sure those keep working

The update is covered by the GNOME standing exception.

Accepted gnome-settings-daemon into disco-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/3.32.1-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested and change the tag from verification-needed-disco to verification-done-disco. There have been regressions in tests triggered by the package. Please visit the sru report page and investigate the failures.

The autopkgtests problem is the arm64 chroots not being able to install the kernel, which has not to do with the SRU here, please don't consider that as a blocker for the SRU
