Bug Description

After connecting my laptop to the external monitor I set up different resolutions for the external and internal screens and their layout. After I log out or reboot and then connect it doesn't remember those settings and I have to do it all over again.

Everyone please ensure you are actually logging in again too :)

If you're only concerned about the login screen then that is bug 1760849.
