Fix gdm -> login transition

Bug #1219148 reported by Tim Lunn on 2013-08-31

gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

gnome-shell 3.8 provides background plugin via mutter thus we need to disable the g-s-d background plugin under GNOME.

This fixes the ugly transitions where the default wallpaper is shown before and after gdm loads.
